RIP M.J.

The untimely death of my childhood crush is such a shock. Hearing the news yesterday afternoon, followed by pictures of his life brought me to tears. Not just a tear or two, I actually cried like I'd lost a loved one. I never imagined how I would feel, it doesn't seem real. He's the first idol I ever loved & I told my family on countless occasions that I wanted to marry him when I grew up! I used to fantasize about him and Cindy Lauper performing at my daycare. He would perform "Beat It" and Cindy would break off into "Girls Just Want to Have Fun", the memories. The only positive that came out of his death is that Michael never grew up, he will always be young in my memory. Such a legend!
